Elemental Love.
I know you don't know this,
but...let me just tell you...
Deep inside me there is an ocean
A solitary island stands permanently
Amidst the vast,
far-reaching body
No ship can sail this ocean
the currents overwhelming
and the waves are too mighty
too many intruders would be drowned in the depths of this ocean
That ocean is my love
and you are the island
You stand unmoving within the raging waters
Water that is already so deep
My thoughts of you are the waves
they are created by natures love winds
as the gusts grow the thoughts get deeper
They are countless
and appear constantly
To splash onto the shore of my mind
to remind myself what you are to me.
You are not just the island
my waters flood and surround.
you are the controller of the ocean within me.
You are the full moon of my second world.
When you touch me, a storm arises
dark clouds gather
and appear in a matter of seconds.
Crashing winds whip the blood through my body
The thunder of my heart is deafening.
the flashing lights dance in what appears to be night sky,
but don't be afraid.
For lighting never strikes
in the same place twice.....
until our bodies touch.
This ocean becomes uncontrollable.
The storm continues to build until my body is shaken
And in the peace that follows the storm
The waters of my love are deepened by the rain
from my tears of joy..
